Tour Itinerary

Upon arriving at Leh Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take the day to acclimatize to Leh’s high altitude of 11,562 ft, ensuring plenty of rest and hydration. In the evening, visit the Shanti Stupa to enjoy stunning panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains. You can also explore the lively Leh Market, known for its souvenirs and local handicrafts, and optionally visit the historic 17th-century Leh Palace for its cultural significance and scenic vistas. Overnight accommodation will be provided at a hotel in Leh.

Begin your day with a visit to the iconic Shanti Stupa, where you can enjoy sweeping views of Leh and its surrounding mountains. Continue on to the historic Leh Palace to get a glimpse into the region’s royal past, followed by a short stop at the serene Sankar Gompa. Later, explore the Hall of Fame Museum, a tribute to the Indian Army that highlights the courage and sacrifices of its soldiers. Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Leh.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Nubra Valley by driving over Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world at 17,582 ft. Once in Nubra, visit the renowned Diskit Monastery, known for its impressive statue of Maitreya Buddha. Continue to the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a memorable ride on the distinctive double-humped Bactrian camels. Take in the striking desert scenery framed by majestic snow-covered peaks. Your day concludes with an overnight stay at a camp or hotel in Nubra Valley.

Begin your day with an early departure for Turtuk, a beautiful village near the India–Pakistan border, home to the Balti community. Explore its scenic surroundings, lush apricot orchards, and charming narrow lanes while interacting with the friendly locals. Experience the unique cultural blend of Ladakhi and Balti traditions that define this remote village. You can also take a leisurely walk up to the Turtuk Monastery for sweeping views of the area. In the evening, drive back to Nubra Valley and settle in for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, continue your journey to the enchanting Pangong Lake at an altitude of 14,270 ft, traveling through the picturesque landscapes and rugged terrain of the Shyok route. On arrival, marvel at the lake’s captivating colors that shift from deep blue to green and turquoise. Spend the day soaking in the tranquility and photographing the breathtaking surroundings. In the evening, settle in for an overnight stay at a lakeside camp or guesthouse near Pangong.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh, driving once again over the high-altitude Chang La Pass at 17,590 ft, the world’s third-highest motorable road. Along the route, stop to explore the striking Thiksey Monastery, a 12-story structure reminiscent of Lhasa’s Potala Palace, followed by a visit to the historic Shey Palace. Continue onward to Leh, where you will check in for an overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Leh Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you the wonderful memories of Ladakh.
